CASE STUDY
Accounts summary redesign
While at Truist, I worked with other designers and a researcher to redesign the 'Accounts Summary card', specifically targeting research insights that revealed low engagement with the 'View account details' CTA. This initiative also provided a strategic opportunity to modernize the interface—ensuring full alignment with our evolving design system and establishing a competitive, industry-standard visual experience
CONTEXT
Strategic Design Goals
Truist serves 15 million clients across the U.S., including 7.3 million active digital users. To maintain a competitive edge, we focused on the following design challenges:
-
How might we empower users to adopt a "digital-first" mindset when accessing essential services?
-
How might we redesign the account card to ensure a seamless, modern experience across diverse account types and digital viewports?
-
How can we streamline the UI to compete with top-tier financial institutions while consolidating fragmented information into a single, intuitive location?

WHAT WE DID
Information Hierarchy
Reimagined the structural layout to prioritize essential data and improve call-to-action visibility.
Visual Wayfinding
Introduced strategic color fields to help users navigate between to delineate sections of the accounts card.
Spatial Efficiency
Developed a compact composition and updated the components, successfully pulling the transaction table higher on the page to reduce scrolling and maximize screen real estate.
